buying custom made clothes is unfortunately not quite as convenient as a saturday morning shopping spree. it takes a little longer, however, the result is that perfect fit that we all dream of.

the first step is to arrange for a consultation - a relaxed meeting to talk about your expectations and ideas, to look at designs and to take measurements. visit the Professional Association of Custom Clothiers site for a little more detail on how to prepare for your initial consultation

the second step is to finalize the design, approve it and shop for materials. you may already have a piece of fabric that you would like to use, or perhaps you have seen exactly what it is that you want. if you do not already have your mind set on a specific fabric design i will gladly find you samples and do all the material shopping.

the third step is the actual making of the item, which includes 1-3 fittings, depending on the complexity of the design. when you are completely satisfied with the fit and appearance of your new dress or skirt, the process ends.

all garments come with washing instructions and are, in cases where the fabric requires it, pre-shrunk. i offer a one year limited guarantee: should any seams come undone due to normal wear and otherwise reasonable treatment of the garment, i will repair it at no cost to you. furthermore, should you within six months of purchase need to have your dress or skirt refitted i will do so free of charge.
